Prayer
Prayer for End of Term Three
We thank you Lord for Term Three.
We have shared challenges and successes, and learnt from the mistakes made.
Be with us as we spend our time with family and friends.
Give us strength and courage to be like Jesus in our choices.
Help us to appreciate what others do for us, to give time and effort to help
others and to be peacemakers in our family.
Keep us safe in our activities; be with us when we rest and when we are active.
Bring us back refreshed and ready for Term Four.
We thank you for our classmates, teachers, parents and our community that care for us.
May we always make time for you in our lives.
Amen
From my Desk
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we near the conclusion of term three, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you most sincerely for the support you have given to all members of our community.
The term delivered news we did not want to hear and we know there has been sadness, frustration and anger experienced by all.
The students have been amazing and are enjoying all that learning has to offer.
Next term it will be very much business as usual with the elements of change and celebration at the forefront of the students Enquiry Theme.
Candice and I hosted a lunch for four principals from our closest catholic primary schools, which the majority of our students will be attending next year.
One of the discussion points was transition dates.
The following three days have been listed-
Wednesday 8th November
Wednesday 29th November
Monday 11th December
Principals from the four schools will contact parents regarding these dates.
These will be full days and some staff from St. Mary Magdalen’s will also attend. More information will be forwarded to families next term.
If you have not yet decided upon a school, please let us know by email when you have, and if you need any assistance regarding enrolment please do not hesitate to contact us.
On behalf of all staff I would like to wish all families a safe and happy holiday and we look forward to seeing all the bright chirpy faces on Monday 2nd October.
Term four commences on Monday 2nd October
Regards,
Jenny
